Myomassology Diploma Program in Southwestern Ontario

Aromatica’s Myomassology Practitioner Program in Chatham Kent
Professional Development Programs for Natural Therapy Practitioners
As the first school in Canada to offer a Registered Myomassology Practitioner Program, Aromatica has been at the forefront of comprehensive, multi-modality training. Our graduates are equipped to build a full-service practice and meet the growing demand for holistic treatment.
What is Myomassology?
Myomassology is a holistic form of bodywork that integrates therapeutic massage with energy awareness, body alignment, and functional movement. Often described as the holistic version of massage, it focuses on the body as an interconnected whole rather than isolated muscles. Techniques such as Contraction Release Therapy (CRT) are used to identify and release chronic tension patterns at their source, supporting improved posture, reduced pain, and restored balance. Myomassology emphasizes listening to the body, encouraging natural healing processes, and creating long-term change rather than temporary relief.
Becoming a Registered Myomassologist
Aromatica’s 10-month, 600-hour Myomassology Diploma Program provides comprehensive, hands-on training with a strong foundation in massage, holistic health, anatomy and physiology, professional practice, documentation, ethics, and business fundamentals. Students are introduced to a variety of complementary modalities, including Reflexology, Swedish Massage, Contraction Release Therapy (CRT), Indian Head Massage, Traditional Chinese Fire Cupping, Chair Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Tui Na, Full-Body Paraffin Therapy, and CranioSacral Therapy.
The program combines in-class, instructor-led training with structured home study and documented clinical practicum experience. Students attend hands-on training throughout the program while completing independent study between classes, including program manuals, modality theory, Reflexology studies, and Anatomy & Physiology workbook requirements. The current program structure totals 175 hours of on-site hands-on instruction, 225 hours of home study, and 200 hours of documented clinical practicums.
To successfully complete the Myomassology Diploma Program, students must fulfill all required classroom hours, home-study assignments, Anatomy & Physiology coursework and workbooks, practicum documentation, and clinical requirements. Students must also successfully complete the required written and practical examinations and demonstrate safe, ethical, professional, and competent application of the techniques taught throughout the program.
The goal of the program is to develop knowledgeable, confident, compassionate, and well-rounded practitioners who understand the body as a whole and can thoughtfully integrate their training into individualized holistic care. Aromatica’s training is designed to provide graduates with a strong educational foundation, practical experience, professional documentation skills, and the confidence needed to transition into professional practice.

How the Program Works
Aromatica’s 10-month, 600-hour Myomassology Diploma Program combines hands-on classroom instruction, guided home study and documented clinical practicum experience.
Students attend three in-class training days each month, developing practical skills in massage, bodywork and complementary holistic therapies while building a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, client safety, professional practice and documentation.
Throughout the program, hands on techniques are introduced, practised, reviewed and refined. Documented practicum experience gives students the opportunity to apply their training with clients while progressively developing their hands-on skills, confidence and professional approach.
Students are responsible for accurately recording and submitting all required practicum hours and supporting session documentation.
All required coursework, examinations, practicum hours and supporting documentation must be successfully completed before the Aromatica Myomassology Diploma can be awarded.
Training Location
Hands-on instruction takes place at Aromatica’s lakeside location at 18708 Erie Shore Drive Blenheim, Ontario.
